Day 12

We started the morning by doing our vote off which to my extreme delight saw Monika take a hike and Rob staying in. You see myself, Rob, Matt and Jenny had an alliance since Winnipeg when Julie left and after some convincing brought Monika and Sheenah into the group only to be betrayed and lied to by Monika. So I guess you can say that what went around came back and bit her in the ass much to the delight of the ones that voted her off.

I want to conclude by saying that this trip was an amazing experience where I got to meet 11 very different people, made a few great friendships which I definitely keep in touch with. After all the breathtaking views, crazy stunts I am happy to be going home back to my family, friends.
Thank you to all those that voted for me, tuned in to watch and for all involved with the trip.

To the cast, I love you guys , and to the Crew, thank you for letting me experience the country

Good Bye.

Day 11

We spent the duration of today in Fredricton for Canada day at a little village that was a replica of ones that we would see back in the 1800's. Yet again the sights and stories told by the actors were unbelievable. For example to cut a log back in the day would take roughly 30 minutes for a plank 2 inches wide by how ever long and this would continue until log completion where as today an electrical saw would take no more than 15 minutes to chop the whole log. The advancements that were made from then to now gave me a new outlook on how far we've come. That night we set up camp with our tents and experienced an unbelievable east coast lobster dinner. Mmmmm mmmmmmmm mmmmmmm. I actually had 2 due to the amount that was left over. Don't get me wrong it's not home cooking but wow, it was close. That nights conversation was informative because the vote off from the Quebec day got scratched causing one final vote b4 Halifax with Rob and Monika feuding to stay in. I wasn't worried at all because the immunity that I had won at the go karts had carried over to the final vote off guaranteeing me a spot in the final 8 to complete the trip.

Day 10

We were supposed to do our ropes obstacle course today but due to thunderstorms in the area it was cancelled . One thing that I learned today was that communication is the key to everything. Being able to speak very little french hurt my ability to explore and find out the things I wanted to know about the city which was absolutely gorgeous by the way. We were dropped off at the base of chateau frontenauc and that alone was so impressive by it's massive size and architecture. I used close to 2 rolls of film on the little shops to the castles, to the hotels to everything, the views down there are amazing. I almost forgot about the highlight of the day…… Bobby taking himself out of the contest. Yes that’s right he quit like a little baby. Which was great for me because going into this trip I thought he would be a threat and the last few days the rumours were that he was up there in votes so he did me and the rest of the cast a favor by puling such a dumb move by withdrawing.

Day 09

I experienced a new world of food for breakfast this morning, I tried a chocolate banana crepe for breakfast. Not knowing exactly what these were I was hesitant to try something new but to my surprise these crepe things were amazing. Hands down the best breakfast of the entire trip thus far. From here we went go-karting where yours truly drove like Jeff Gordon to capture immunity for the next vote off as well as bragging rights for the next few days. A lot of people were running their mouths off about today and how great they would be so I let them have their temporary glory. We raced on two tracks, a road course and an oval. The road course I qualified second and finished second, I would have been first had it not been for the slow and reckless driving of Bobby. Now the oval track was a completely different story, having my parents and my puppy track side fore this race I qualified .6 seconds faster than any other racer which was amazing considering the lap times were under 10 seconds and lead from start to finish in a convincing victory. For finishing with the most overall points I also picked up the motovibe scooter which is gonna be awesome to bring home for some rides around town.

Day 08

Beach day at Algonquin park, today was amazing other than all the horsefly kicking around. We kicked back, played football, frisbee, drank Jones Soda and watched the girls swim in the lake. Unfortunately we only had about an hour or so to stay but to relax on a beach, unwind and let loose was so welcomed at this time. To top this all off we stayed in a hostel right downtown Toronto right in the middles of clubbing alley. Most of us danced the night away at a few of the hot spots since we were allowed 3 hours of free time tonight.

Day 07

After another 13 hour day on the bus and everyone tired of singing songs, playing cards, truth or dare, all the car ride games we arrived in Nipigon around oh…….3 am. The worst fact this night was that we had a challenge to complete once we got there and all we were told was that it was " scary night" . All that the group was told was that we were going to be taken one at a time throughout the night, that’s all. I stayed up til about 5:30-5:45am and nobody came so I assume I fell asleep shortly after on the be barged in on at 10 to 6, to be tied blindfolded and walked into who knows where and left there. I am still not sure how long or where they left me but the passing trucks seemed like inches away and the coyotes and bears would have had good eating that night if they had of come near. Needless to say I completed the challenge and managed about 20 minutes of sleep that night

Day 06

Today was one of the hardest days of the entire trip, the first actual vote off of the trip. As all of us piled into the Bootlegger store in Winnipeg we were seated as if we were at an actual survivor type vote off. One by one we voted and as the totals were read Julie Beck, my little sweetheart was voted off. I did in fact vote for her myself as much as it hurt me but alliances were being formed and if she didn't go I was most likely next so to look out for my own ass, I turned on the one that I had cared about the most. Julie I hope you can understand my situation and forgive me for my actions. The rest of this day was on the bus headed for my home province. You couldn't imagine how happy I was top be " heading to home turf"

Day 02 and 03

Sunday June 22nd, Kumsheen white water rafting is a day to be remembered. The scenery was amazing, the water, ice cold. Imagine this, it's the may 24 weekend and you just open your un-heated inground pool. Then for the next 3 hours you are stuck in this water with no way out. Well this is what the day on the raft was like, no matter where you sat it seemed like our guide Mike, always seemed to hit the waves dead on, drenching everyone, front, middle and back of the boat. Also the winds didn't help much either making a nice 25 degree day seem like a - 5 degree day. Had it not been for the newfie jokes made by Jenny, and the holy cows, and oh my gods as we plowed through the 10 foot waves it just wouldn't have been the same. Next we hopped on the bus ride from hell, 7 hrs on a bus with girls that should have been back in grade school. Imagine this, you have the world's worst migrane and all you hear for hours on end is giggles, whispers and snickers.

After I found out about the new alliance formed by Monika, Bobby and Sheena who happen to be threatened by me have decided to make me the next target for a vote off. I find this a compliment to an extent because if they are that worried about me then it makes me feel good. The irony of this whole situation is that the 2 ppl i flew in with Bobby and Monika have no clue that i know about their little group yet the entire cast does. I mean I see one side of Monika flying in then boom, I get pegged as the odds on favourite with the pre-votes and now i'm a sitting target. These 2 went from full conversation with me to not a word. A few other funny parts are that Monika isn't helping herself by being so fake, trying so hard to jump in at every occasion i mean it seems like every hour she has a new best friend and follows them around like a lost little puppy which is why Monika is getting my vote in the next poll for who is to get booted off. Now to get back on track, we pulled into banff at 4 am for 3 hour cat nap then back on the road for day 3 at the west edmonton mall.

Today was just amazing, i get chosen first to go bungee jumping. what a thrill and a half, only one of us failed to complete the stunt being the first one sent home ( julie ann Hawkes). the free-fall was un explainable in words. Earlier in the day we rode the ever so famous mechanical bull in edmonton. not one person made it to level, hell i barely made it to level 4. the only way to describe this feeling after riding the bull was ow, oww and oww. this pain in the lower region of the body has never been experienced by me. After our dinner on the pirate ship we were given the opportunity to go to playdium. After about 3 rounds of indy racing, myself and julie beck decide to go stroll the mall and go glow in the dark mini putting instead as me and her have made a good connection in the early stages of this trip and also she is the one that best suits my personality and character traits. Once back on the bus headed to sask. we all deecided to do a little dirty dancing show to pass the time as tonight was the first night we get the pleasure of sleeping on the bus( not cool by the way )

well it's 2 am or pretty close on monday night tuesday morning so i'm off to bed.

MOM, DAD miss you two lots, love you both and to my boys ( I'm repressenting you all and sharing somne crazy stories we've had, see you all in 9 days )

Day 01

My recap of day one........... well the flight out was a rush and a half considering it was my first time ever flying but I survived. I flew out with Monika which was a bonus because it seemed the 2 hours flights seem like 5 minutes. Made one stop in Winnepeg to pick up Bobby so flying in the 3 us us now hade now gotten the first impressions and what not out of the way. After a slight wait in the airport all 12 of us piled onto the cool bus, decked out with comfy seats, tv’s, jones soda, the works...... and headed down for the on camera interviews which ended up being quite the drilling sequence of questions. After all the formalities were out of the way we headed down to Robson Street which just blew my mind, there is nothing back home that compares to this street and the abundance of stores, Toronto looks small compared to this. The one hour shopping spree turned out to be more difficult than expected, most of us barely squeaked by with minutes to spare but with a ton of cool clothes. I was so stoked with the outfits I ended up getting. From here we headed on down to the harbour..... and wow what a sight, I ended up taking a whole roll of film just in the harbour alone. It was an amazing sight.

The highlights of my day were meeting Julie as I had talked to her previously to taking this trip and finally kicking off this trip. I also want to say hi to MOM & DAD and my pup, Monty. As well as all my boys back home, Cargs, Dutch,Clicker, G, Kostecki, miss you all guys, see you soon. KP
